NATURAL WOMAN X FACTOR
My first audition on the X factor. i rehearsed everyday for 3 hours a day leading up to this audition. And honesty when I walked off the stage I could not remember anything I sang. I watched it back with the rest of the World and shed more tears as I remembered Simon Cowell giving me a standing ovation and saying it was one of the best auditions he had ever heard. This was not only a career highlight but one of the best moments of my life.
PURPLE RAIN
When I was told I was going to sing Purple Rain I researched the meaning and learned that Prince said that it meant ”God’s love raining down on you” When I learned this I decided to sing it from this viewpoint and it became sort of a gospel song. I sang it with hopes to inspire and lift the spirit of the listener. People around the world responded. Another glorious moment on the X FACTOR that I will never forget.
I BELIEVE
This song is my testimony. I hope it inspires you to believe .. never stop.
SUMMERTIME
That moment you are on a tv show and your father dies. I am not sure what to say about this performance. Other than it was one of the most painful moments of my life. And I did it for my father.
